Puzzle 001 [Video / Action for Goldenrod]
[The face appearing on the network now may or may not be a new face to some people, but this whole situation sure is new to Clive. Anyone who's paying extra close attention may also notice that the scenery in the background is nowhere in New Bark Town or Mahogany; it's none other than the first floor of the Radio Tower in Goldenrod.]
Good evening, everyone. I've just arrived here a few hours ago, and while I've managed to gather a little bit of information so far, there's still something I want to know. Is it really true that it's impossible to leave this place? If people have just randomly appeared here, then surely there have at least been people that have randomly left, too, right?
[He lets out a brief sigh before continuing.]
I'm sure this must be an age-old complaint by now, but I really do have important business to attend to at home. It would at least be somewhat comforting to know that I won't be stuck here forever. I would very much like to go back now, but that would be asking for the impossible, I suppose.
[Just so he doesn't appear as down, Clive gives a faint smile to his audience.]
I appreciate your time.
[For anyone in Goldenrod, they can probably catch him walking out of the Radio Tower after the feed, heading in the direction of the department store. Being the skinny thing he is without any proper winter clothing, he's shivering and rubbing his arms to try and keep warm. Hopefully he can at least find a really cheap coat at that department store...]

[He lifts up a Cyndaquil into view, and once the Pokémon's on his shoulder and lets out a Hoothoot from the ball in his pocket. The bird settles unhappily on the other shoulder.]
Left's Chi, the Cyndaquil; right's Youyou, a Hoothoot.
[Have a friendly wave and an annoyed hoot, respectively.]
video
They're quite adorable! I just have this one for now...
[Clive sends out his lovely Absol, who just glares at the camera. She's quite a fierce bitch, but that's mostly because of the chip that Team Rocket planted in her.]
This is Sibelle the Absol. She's... not too friendly either, as you can probably tell.
[Well, he also has that Ekans that he also got from Team Rocket, but it's probably not a good idea to be showing him off yet.]
video
She's really cool looking! A real beauty! Her fur looks so soft, I wish I could touch it and see what it's like. It's nice to meet you, Sibelle, I'm Chizuru Tachibana and these are my friends, Chi and Youyou.
[introductions are the best okay, pointing to each pokémon.]
Even if she's not friendly, she looks really strong, too...
video
Yes, I've never felt fur as soft as hers... It's funny; as unfriendly as she is, she doesn't seem to mind being pet. Or, at least she doesn't mind me petting her.
And I haven't had a chance to test her out in battle yet, so I'm not sure how strong she is.
video
At least yours is a little nice to you, this girl's just downright mean.
Uh-- Yeah, I think you could take them. There should be a big park above Goldenrod City, it has a lot of weak Bug-types there. Why don't you try your hand there? She'd beat them no problem.
video
It's a bit far, but I suppose I could take a walk up there sometime. How did you know what kind of Pokémon are there if you haven't been up here yet?
video
I've played the games! Scyther's a good catch there, but I don't know if you could get it without doing the Bug-Catching Contest too.
[hell yeah. he's a pokémon master in those games! and now he gets to be a real one! so exciting.]
video
[It would probably be easier for him to understand if he knew what video games were...]
video
[It's more to Chizuru that the world is based off these games, since he thinks of it more as a virtual MMORPG kind of thing. even realistic enough to have night and day everything hurts and all!]

[jeez get with the program]
video
[He may be really short, but he's an adult, dammit!!]
video
[w o w you sir are actually the first person who's told him that
kind of
knocks off his thought that this is just a virtual reality game/festival/event thingy and not an entirely different world.]
video
Yeah... Is that strange?
video
[seriously.]
