Miscellaneous Lines
Gilded 7 Casino
Clive: The professor would be quite the poker shark if he tried.
Casino Entrance
Clive: We can't go back that way now. The Family is still on the hunt for us.
> Examine the casino
Clive: What sorts of fools would destroy their own casino like that?
> Examine tall blue building
Clive: Dark, eh? They block out the lights to create an ambiance.
Flatstone St. 2
Clive: I would have had a lot of fun running around here if I were a child.
Arcade East Exit
Clive: Eh? There's nothing there, but...
Arcade
Clive: This restaurant has gotten all kinds of rave reviews.
Black Market
Clive: I don't think we should hang around too long in a place like this...
Shady Grove
Clive: You look uneasy, Luke. Is this place too dark for you?
Iron Bridge
Clive: I'm sure this bridge was here 10 years ago, wasn't it?
Riverside Hill
Clive: It's so warm out here in the sunshine! But I'm getting thirsty.
Alley
Clive: London's got a lot dirtier in the last 10 years, hasn't it?
Park Gate
Luke: I bet the view from the observation deck is out of this world!
Clive: It does have quite the view, but we don't have time to stop right now. To the clock shop!
Clock Shop Front
Clive: There's been a lot of construction in this area.
Old Bus Stop
Clive: Look at those cogs turning...
Arcade Entrance
Clive: There's nothing like a nice stroll through the arcade.
Park Observatory
Clive: The cityscape of the future is quite a sight, isn't it?
Casino Storage
Clive: Come along, you two. We need to make our way back to Flatstone Street.
> Examine floor (after Chapter 2)
Clive: Do we really have to go back to this room again...?
Anita's Place
Clive: We should sit down for a cup of tea once this is over, Professor.
Scarlet Street
Clive: Quite a vibrant place, isn't it?
Toy Shop
Clive: Forgive my apathy, but unlike Little Luke here, I am not a child.
Noodle Shop
Clive: We've been walking for a while now. Shall we have a little rest?
Belltower Gate
Clive: This bell rings at the same time every day. You'll get used to it.
> Examine roof
Luke: What an unusual building that is. It has three roofs, each a little smaller than the next. It's like a family of roofs.
Clive: Yes, Chinatown has some rather ornate buildings that were built after your time.
Luke: So, that's why I didn't recognize them!
Clive: You know, your comment about the roofs being like a family reminds me of a puzzle I once heard. Would you like to hear it?
Luke: Did you even need to ask?
[Puzzle time!]
Clive: Wonderful! Of course, I expected nothing less from myself. Heh heh.
Luke: Nor should you! After all, no puzzle is a match for Layton's apprentice!
Azure Avenue
Clive: Watch your step, won't you, Flora?
Bookshop
Clive: I think I could handle the kinds of books the professor reads now.
Edge of Chinatown
Clive: I don't usually venture this far out of the city center.
